3DS/Wii U guides
On these systems, it is possible to get a hacked Mii via QR Codes, whether you have an SD card or not.
Method 1: SD card method
This method will allow you to change the name of an already existing Mii so it contains hacked symbols. This is how it works.
1) Create the Mii that will have a hacked name
2) Generate its QR Code
When the Mii is done, generate its QR Code by clicking on "QR Code/Image Options", then on "Save Mii as QR Code", and choose the Mii you just made. The QR Code will be stored on the SD card.
3) Transfer the SD card to your computer
4) Edit the Mii's information
To do so, you have to use a tool called Mii Info Editor CTR. Click on "open QR code", then select the QR Code from your SD card. Now you can edit your Mii's name and include all the symbols you want from the "Symbols" tab, and you can even make it wear golden pants by ticking the "Special Mii" box. Keep in mind that a Mii name cannot exceed 10 characters, and that Special Miis cannot be modified afterwards.
5) Generate a new QR Code from Mii Info Editor CTR
Click on "generate QR code" at the top.
6) Scan it with your console
Click on "QR Code/Image Options", and then "".
And here you have your hacked Mii.
Method 2: No SD card method
1) Open Mii Info Editor CTR in your browser
2) Edit the Mii's information
By default, you start with a basic Mii. From there on, you can make your own hacked Mii by using symbols from the "Symbols" tab, and even by making it wear golden pants by ticking the "Special Mii" box.
Keep in mind that a Mii name cannot exceed 10 characters, and that Special Miis cannot be modified afterwards.
3) Generate a QR Code from Mii Info Editor CTR
Click on "generate QR code" at the top.
4) Scan it with your console
Click on "QR Code/Image Options", and then "".
5) Modify the newly imported Mii
Use the Mii Editor to modify your new hacked Mii so it looks unique. Note that, as said previously, if your Mii is a Special Mii, you cannot modify it on your console.
